What we hold
The full list is in the privacy notice. In short:
- If you sent an early access request: your name, business name, email address, phone number (if you gave one), type of business, the plan you were interested in, your message, and your IP address stored only as a salted hash.
- If you're a customer: your business profile and branding; team member accounts (Telegram ID or username, a confirmed email address, a hashed password, sign-in sessions); the content you submit, the drafts made from it, and approval and publishing records; an event log; AI usage records; submissions from lead forms on websites we run for you; and the encrypted credentials that let us publish for you.
- If you connected a social account, such as a Facebook Page or Instagram account: the connection that lets us publish the posts you approve to it, and the record of what was published there.
Ask us to delete it
Use the form below, or email privacy@madeguymarketing.com. Either way, a person handles it. Sending the form doesn't delete anything by itself.
What happens next
- A person reads your request.
- Before we delete anything, we email the address we have on file to confirm the request came from you. Nothing is deleted until that's confirmed.
- Once it's confirmed, we delete what you asked for. If you asked us to remove your social connections, we disconnect those accounts from our publishing tool. We finish within 30 days of confirming the request.
What may be kept: billing records (amounts, dates, plan) and AI usage totals, for up to 7 years, for tax and accounting.
Backups: the database is backed up nightly, and an encrypted copy is kept off-site for 14 days. Information you ask us to delete can remain in backups made before the deletion. Backups on our server are also kept for 14 days, so deleted information is gone from them after that. Deleted off-site copies can stay in our cloud storage provider's recovery area for up to 180 more days, still encrypted.
Posts already published: once a post is published on a social network, it's public there and that network's own terms apply. Deleting your information with us doesn't remove it from the network; you can delete it there yourself. If you're a customer, ask us and we'll help you find and delete posts we published for you.
Your request: we keep a record of the request itself (who asked, what for, and what we did). We keep that record for 24 months.
Facebook and Instagram
If you connected a Facebook Page or an Instagram account to Made Guy Marketing, you can also remove our access yourself at any time. The app is listed as [Owner to confirm: the app name people see in their Facebook and Instagram settings].
- Facebook: open Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations (or Apps and websites). Find the app and choose Remove.
- Instagram: open Settings and activity, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites. Find the app and choose Remove.
Removing the app there stops us from publishing to that account. It doesn't delete what we already hold; to have that deleted, use the form above or email privacy@madeguymarketing.com.
